Sports enthusiasts and fitness fanatics among the Ugandan community living in Burundi came together this morning to take part in the inaugural activities during the official unveiling of the aerobics program. The Embassy of Uganda in Bujumbura participated in the activies, donating refreshements and helping secure the grounds.

The program seeks to strengthen the sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among the Ugandan community in Burundi. It is hoped that this will also foster a healthy lifestyle and create more connections within the community. 

The activities began with an aerobics session which was followed by a thrilling six-goal football match. All this created a perfect preparation ground for the upcoming Rotary Cancer Run slated for 27th August 2023.
